Up and Over

Tis the season for local car shows, sports tournaments and community festivals. For drone operators (Part 107), this is a great time to create spectacular views that normal media teams on the ground cannot create. Reminder that the FAA has imposed new rules for Remote ID along with Operations over People (OOP) that we need to consider when taking off with our drone. Situational Awareness and having a visual observer is really the only way to approach the flight. Take time to study the land and ways to create the view, while avoiding flights over people and moving vehicles.
